Luzhniki Stadium is Russia’s largest sports stadium, located in the Luzhniki sports complex in Moscow. The current main arena dates from a mid-20th-century construction and was comprehensively renovated between 2013 and 2017.

By car the stadium sits on the western bank of the Moskva River southwest of central Moscow; it is reachable from central Moscow via Kutuzovsky Prospekt or Leninsky Prospekt (roughly 6-8 km from Red Square depending on route). There is on-site and nearby parking for events, but public transit is usually the fastest option.
