Luancheng is a district immediately south of Shijiazhuang, Hebei's provincial capital. Most visitors arrive via Shijiazhuang Zhengding International Airport (SJW) or by rail at Shijiazhuang Railway Station, then transfer by taxi, bus or local transport into Luancheng.

By Air

Shijiazhuang Zhengding International Airport (SJW): The airport is the main gateway for Hebei’s capital region. The airport shuttle bus to Shijiazhuang city centre runs regularly and takes about 40-60 minutes; expect fares around CNY 25-35. A taxi from the airport to central Shijiazhuang or nearby Luancheng typically takes 35-60 minutes depending on traffic and costs roughly CNY 100-160; private transfers and app-based rides (DiDi) are widely available and slightly more expensive than street taxis.

By Train & Bus

Train: Shijiazhuang Railway Station (石家庄站) is the city’s main rail hub, served by high-speed (G/D) and conventional trains on major routes such as Beijing-Shijiazhuang-Zhengzhou and Beijing-Guangzhou. Typical high-speed second-class fares from Beijing are around CNY 80-150 with journey times of roughly 1.5-2 hours; from other regional cities travel times and fares vary. From Shijiazhuang Railway Station you can reach Luancheng by local taxi (about 20-40 minutes, CNY 30-70) or by local buses (see below).
