The Lower Barrakka Gardens are in Valletta, Malta’s compact city centre above the Grand Harbour. They are a short walk (about 5-10 minutes) from Valletta’s City Gate/central Republic Street and from the Valletta bus terminus; follow pedestrian streets and the harbourside promenades down toward the Grand Harbour to reach the gardens.

- Head to Lower Barrakka Gardens for quieter Grand Harbour views - it's much less busy than the Upper Barrakka but still offers sweeping vistas across the harbour and the Three Cities.
