Lotus Pond, Kaohsiung

Lotus Pond (蓮池潭) is a man-made lake in Zuoying District, Kaohsiung City, Taiwan, known as a lakeside cultural and religious complex. It is a major local attraction within Kaohsiung.

The site is notable for its cluster of temples, pavilions, and pagodas around the shoreline, most prominently the twin Dragon and Tiger Pagodas and the Spring and Autumn Pavilions; these structures are photographed for their colorful ornamentation and reflections on the water. People visit for short walks around the shoreline, temple visits, and seasonal lotus displays.

The pond and its temples have been developed and maintained as a cultural landscape with multiple religious buildings constructed or renovated during the 20th century. The area functions as a continuous place of worship and public leisure rather than a single historic monument.
