Llaillay is accessed primarily by road from Santiago. Fly into Santiago (SCL) and continue overland by bus, shared taxi (colectivo) or rental car to reach Llaillay and nearby towns in the Aconcagua valley.

By Air

Arturo Merino Benítez / Santiago (SCL): Santiago’s international airport is the main air gateway for the Valparaíso region. Llaillay lies north of Santiago; by car it’s typically about 1-1.5 hours from Santiago depending on traffic and the exact route.

General Aviation / Smaller Airports: There are no major commercial airports closer than Santiago for this part of Valparaíso Region; travellers normally fly into SCL and continue by road.

By Train & Bus

Train: Chile’s passenger rail services do not provide frequent commuter services to Llaillay; regular commuter trains operate closer to Valparaíso and Santiago but do not consistently serve Llaillay.
