Colina (Santiago Metropolitan Region) is reached via Santiago's international airport (SCL) followed by road transport. There is no direct metro service into Colina, so most arrivals transfer from central Santiago to interurban buses or taxis for the final leg.

By Air

Arturo Merino Benítez / Santiago International Airport (SCL): Santiago’s main airport is the gateway for Colina. From SCL you can take a taxi or an airport bus to central Santiago (25-45 minutes, CLP 20,000-25,000 for airport bus + metro transfers) and then continue north to Colina by suburban bus or taxi. A direct taxi from SCL to Colina typically takes 35-60 minutes depending on traffic and costs roughly CLP 25,000-40,000.

Smaller regional options: There are no other major commercial airports immediately closer to Colina; use SCL for scheduled flights.

By Train & Bus

Train / Metro: Colina is outside Santiago’s metro network; the closest rapid transit access is Santiago Metro lines in the central/northern city. From metro terminals you switch to buses or taxis for the final leg to Colina.

Bus: Interurban micros and buses depart from northern bus hubs in Santiago (for example, near Plaza Norte / Terminal San Borja / various bus stops) toward Colina and nearby comunas. Travel time from central Santiago is about 40-60 minutes depending on traffic; fares on interurban buses are generally CLP 700-1,500.
