How to Get to Lianghu
Lianghu (Zhejiang province area near Hangzhou) is best reached via Hangzhou airport or by high-speed rail to Hangzhou or Huzhou, followed by local taxi or bus. High-speed trains between Shanghai and Hangzhou make multi-city itineraries straightforward.
Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport (HGH): The main international airport for Hangzhou and much of northern Zhejiang. From Hangzhou to Lianghu (local area near Hangzhou/Huzhou region) travel times vary but are usually under an hour by car for nearby suburbs. Taxis, airport shuttles and car rentals are available at the terminal.
Shanghai airports (PVG/SHA): Shanghai is another international gateway; travel by high-speed train or road from Shanghai to Hangzhou/Huzhou area is common-high-speed rail from Shanghai Hongqiao to Hangzhou is about 45-60 minutes, then local connection to Lianghu.
Train: Hangzhou and Huzhou are served by China’s high-speed rail network. Use Hangzhou East / Hangzhou South or Huzhou stations depending on your route and take local transit or taxi for the last leg to Lianghu.
Bus: Intercity buses link Hangzhou, Huzhou and surrounding counties; local buses and taxis complete the journey to smaller localities like Lianghu.
