Legoland Windsor

Legoland Windsor is a family theme park in Windsor, Berkshire, built around the LEGO brand and operating on the grounds of the former Windsor Safari Park. It opened in 1996 and occupies a large site with multiple themed lands and attractions.

The park features themed areas for different ages, a central Miniland built from millions of bricks, interactive building zones and more than 55 rides and attractions. Attractions range from gentle children’s rides and live shows to family coasters and seasonal events, with multiple play areas for young visitors.

The site was developed on the former safari park and opened in 1996; ownership passed to Merlin Entertainments in the 2000s as part of the park’s commercial expansion. Over time the park has added new rides, upgraded visitor facilities and expanded themed zones.

Legoland Windsor sits at Windsor in Berkshire, about 32 km (20 miles) west of central London and adjacent to the town of Windsor. The site is suburban and parkland in character, with car parks and on-site visitor services.
