How to Get to Lefka
Lefka (in Nicosia District) is reached most easily via Larnaca or Paphos airports with onward road transfer; Cyprus has no rail network, so buses, taxis and rental cars are the main options. Expect limited direct public-transport options to smaller villages.
Larnaca International Airport (LCA): Larnaca is a principal gateway to Cyprus. From Larnaca you can rent a car or take intercity buses toward Nicosia and local buses/taxis to Lefka; travel time to Nicosia is around 40-50 minutes by road, then a short onward taxi or bus to Lefka.
Paphos International Airport (PFO): From Paphos travel by rental car or intercity bus toward Nicosia and the Nicosia District; expect a longer drive (about 1-1.5 hours to reach the greater Nicosia area) and then local connections to Lefka.
Train: Cyprus has no national rail network.
Bus: Intercity and local buses run from Larnaca and Nicosia toward villages in the Nicosia District; OSYPA and private operators serve many routes.
