Las Orquídeas National Natural Park is a protected area in Antioquia Department, Colombia, established to conserve Andean cloud forest and high-elevation ecosystems. The park is named for its rich orchid flora.
Created to protect representative Andean environments and their species, the park has been managed under Colombia’s national protected-area system to conserve critical cloud-forest and montane habitats.
Situated in the Western (Occidental) Cordillera within Antioquia Department in northwestern Colombia, the park occupies steep, often remote terrain in the Andean range.
