Lake Oku is a volcanic crater lake on the eastern flank of Mount Oku in Cameroon’s North-West Region, set within montane forest and the Kilum-Ijim landscape. The lake and surrounding forest are ecologically important and support endemic species.
The site is notable for endemic amphibians and bird species and forms part of a protected forest corridor on the high plateau. Visitors reach the lake from nearby towns and use the area for guided walks and nature observation.
