Lake Kovada National Park

Lake Kovada National Park is a protected area in Isparta Province in southwestern Turkey that centers on a freshwater lake and adjacent forested wetlands. The park conserves lakeshore habitat and local biodiversity.

The lake and its shoreline offer walking trails, picnic areas, and opportunities for birdwatching and small-boat use; the surrounding woodlands contain marked paths for short hikes and nature observation. People often visit for day recreation, wildlife viewing and quiet lakeside walks.

The protected area was established to conserve the lake, its wetlands and surrounding forests; management focuses on preserving habitat and supporting low-impact recreation. Over time the site has been managed to balance public use with conservation of aquatic and forest ecosystems.

The park sits inland in Isparta Province in southwest Turkey, within a landscape of lakes and rolling hills. It lies away from the Mediterranean coast in a region of mixed agriculture and forest.
