About Lake Ermistu

Lake Ermistu is a lake in Pärnumaa in southwestern Estonia, near the village of Ermistu and within a mosaic of wetlands and agricultural landscape. The lake is used for local recreation, fishing and supports wetland vegetation along its shores.

The shoreline includes reedbeds and low-lying marshes that provide habitat for wetland birds and aquatic plants. Local management balances recreational use with habitat conservation and small-scale agriculture.

The lake lies near the Baltic coast in southwestern Estonia and is accessed from nearby roads and settlements in Pärnumaa.
