Lake Bulusan is a crater lake located on the slopes of Mount Bulusan in Sorsogon province, in the Bicol Region of the Philippines. It sits within Bulusan Volcano Natural Park and is one of the mountain’s small highland lakes.
The lake is set in forested terrain and is visited for short hikes, nature observation and birdwatching rather than intensive recreation. Trails around the volcano provide viewpoints onto the lake and surrounding rainforest.
The lake occupies a volcanic crater or depression formed by Bulusan’s past eruptions and is part of the protected area established to conserve the volcano and its ecosystems.
Geographically it lies on southeastern Luzon near the municipality of Bulusan in Sorsogon province.
