Connections to island towns are by taxi, car hire or infrequent public buses; travel to Angra do Heroísmo or Praia da Vitória typically takes 15-30 minutes by road.

• Bus: Public bus services exist but runs can be limited outside peak times.
• Car hire: Available locally and useful for island exploration; rental desks are near the terminal.
• Driving: Road distances are short but allow extra time during events or military movements.

The terminal offers basic passenger services appropriate to a regional airport: small cafés, vending machines and basic shopping. Wi‑Fi availability is generally present but may be limited; charging points are available in passenger seating areas. Accessibility assistance can be arranged through airlines or airport staff. There are no large commercial lounges; luggage storage and showers are typically not offered.

Accommodation on Terceira Island is concentrated in nearby towns (Angra do Heroísmo, Praia da Vitória) rather than at the airfield. There are several hotels and guesthouses within 10-20 minutes by road; for overnight or early-morning flights book in advance, especially during events.
