About KV27

KV27 is a tomb in the Valley of the Kings on the west bank of the Nile near Luxor, recorded among the New Kingdom burials in the valley. It is catalogued in the standard sequence of numbered tombs used by Egyptologists.

Archaeological records note KV27’s layout and any artefacts recovered during excavations; like many valley tombs it has been studied during systematic surveys and clearances. Public access and the tomb’s condition are managed as part of the wider conservation programme for the Valley of the Kings.

The tomb sits within the archaeological zone of the Valley of the Kings on the west bank of Luxor.

How to Get to KV27

Same as other Valley tombs: a short drive from Luxor across to the West Bank and then up to the Valley of the Kings entrance. Local guides and taxis are the usual modes of arrival.
