Urumqi Diwopu International Airport (URC): Urumqi is the main international gateway to Xinjiang with flights across China; travel to Kucha from Urumqi is lengthy (many hours by air to regional airports and then road) - most visitors combine internal flights plus road transfer to reach Kucha.
