Kun Iam Temple is a Buddhist temple on the Macau Peninsula dedicated to the bodhisattva Guanyin. The complex dates back to the early 17th century and is among the oldest surviving religious sites in Macau.
The temple complex contains several small pavilions, an inner courtyard and altars with carved statues and ritual objects, and it preserves historical inscriptions and religious artefacts from successive rebuildings. It functions both as a place of worship and a cultural landmark.
First recorded in the early 1600s, the temple has undergone renovations over the centuries and reflects local Cantonese devotional practices. It is situated in central Macau on the peninsula within the historic urban area.
