It lies only a few kilometres (around 4-6 km) from central Helsinki; you can reach it from the centre by local buses (journeys typically take around 10-15 minutes) or by car via the main eastern approaches into the city and the Kulosaari bridge. From the main bus stop in Kulosaari it is usually only a few minutes’ walk to the shoreline or local centre.
