The park contains extensive walkways through a planted, netted aviary where hundreds of bird species can be observed at close range, plus dedicated displays for hornbills, flamingos and waterfowl. Regular keeper talks and bird-feeding sessions are scheduled throughout the day.

Established in 1991 as part of the city’s Lake Gardens complex, the park was developed to showcase aviary collections and support education about bird conservation.

Situated within the Perdana Botanical Gardens, the bird park lies close to other central Kuala Lumpur attractions and is within easy reach of the KL city centre.

  • Opening and location: Opened in 1991 and located inside the Perdana Botanical Gardens near central KL attractions such as KL Tower and the National Mosque.
