Konstamonitou is an Eastern Orthodox monastery on Mount Athos, one of the 20 ruling monasteries within the Athonite monastic community in northeastern Greece. It forms part of the long-standing monastic tradition on the peninsula.

The monastery dates to the medieval Byzantine period and has been rebuilt and maintained over centuries as a living monastic house. It functions primarily as a religious community with liturgical life, manuscript collections and monastic buildings.

Konstamonitou sits on the slopes of the Athos peninsula in northern Greece, within the self-governing monastic territory known as Mount Athos. Access is controlled by the monastic administration and limited to male visitors who hold a permit.

Konstamonitou Monastery is on the Mount Athos peninsula; all visitors must obtain the appropriate Mount Athos permit (diamonitirion) in advance (note entry restrictions apply to men only). The usual route is to travel to Ouranoupoli (by car or regional bus from Thessaloniki or nearby towns) and take the public boat/ferry to Dafni, the main port of Mount Athos; from Dafni visitors proceed to individual monasteries by local boat services or on foot along the coastal paths where permitted - arrange on‑site transfers with the skippers or the monastery in advance.

• Mount Athos monasteries require advance planning: secure a diamonitirion (pilgrim permit) from the Pilgrims' Office in Ouranoupoli well before travel and bring your passport to board boats to the peninsula.
• Boat connections to the monasteries generally depart from Ouranoupoli; coordinate your permit with the boat timetable so you arrive at the monastery during visiting hours, and plan spring or early autumn crossings when seas are usually calmer.
• Remember Mount Athos has strict visitor rules: only male visitors are admitted and interior access is controlled, so confirm visiting permissions with monastery staff and expect limited access to church interiors.
