How to Get to Kolonia
Kolonia is the main town on Pohnpei and is accessed via Pohnpei International Airport (PNI). The airport-Kolonia transfer is short and usually handled by taxi or shared minibus.
Pohnpei International Airport (PNI): Kolonia (Pohnpei) is served by PNI. The airport is a short drive from Kolonia town (10-25 minutes); taxis and shuttles operate at the airport with fares commonly in US dollars (roughly US$5-15 to central Kolonia).
(Other arrivals routed via Micronesian hubs): Flights commonly connect through Guam, Kosrae or other regional airports depending on origin.
Train: There are no trains on Pohnpei.
