How to Get to Kõinastu
Access is by private boat or local water taxi from the larger islands of Saaremaa or Muhu. From Kuressaare (Saaremaa’s main town) charter a small boat; the short crossing depends on weather and tides. On arrival the islet is easily explored on foot.
Tips for Visiting Kõinastu
- Check tide times if exploring coastal features - some paths to islets are only exposed at low tide.
- Visit the small wooden pier early in the morning for the quietest light and best seabird activity.
