How to Get to Knin#
Knin is easily reached from Split or Zadar by road or rail. The town’s station lies on regional lines to Split and inland Croatia, and regular buses provide additional flexibility.
Split Airport (SPU): Split is the most convenient international airport for Knin. From Split Airport you can take a bus or taxi to Split city (bus ~30 minutes), then continue by train or bus to Knin. The road/train journey Split→Knin takes around 1.5-2 hours by car or train depending on service.
Zadar Airport (ZAD): Zadar is another option, slightly closer to northern Dalmatia. From Zadar you can travel by bus or taxi to Knin - road travel times are roughly 1.5-2 hours depending on route and traffic.
Train: Knin has a functioning railway station on the Zagreb-Split-Dubrovnik corridor (Knin station). Regional trains connect Knin with Split and some inland routes; journey times vary but Split→Knin is typically around 1.5-2 hours on local services.
