Klein Bonaire is a small, uninhabited islet immediately offshore from the main island of Bonaire in the Caribbean Netherlands. It sits just west of the town of Kralendijk and is valued for its shallow fringing reef and clear water.

The islet and its surrounding reef are protected as part of the Bonaire National Marine Park. Snorkeling and freediving are major attractions, with coral gardens and reef fish close to the shore.

Klein Bonaire is reached by short boat rides or kayak trips from Kralendijk and contains beaches used for day visits and occasional turtle nesting.

Klein Bonaire is an uninhabited islet just off the west coast of the main island of Bonaire near Kralendijk. There are no roads to the islet - reach it by boat, water taxi, kayak or organized dive/snorkel charter from Kralendijk’s harbor; the crossing is short (typically around 5-15 minutes depending on operator and weather). Most tour operators and dive shops in Kralendijk handle landings and provide brief on‑island access.

• Take a short water taxi or kayak from Kralendijk and aim to land on Klein Bonaire in the early morning when trade winds are lighter and underwater visibility is best for snorkeling.
