Kinský Palace (Palác Kinských) is an 18th-century palace on Old Town Square in Prague with an ornate Rococo façade, historically associated with the noble Kinský family.

Today the building forms part of the National Gallery Prague and is used for public exhibitions and cultural events, occupying a prominent position among the square’s historic buildings.

Its central location on one of Prague’s main tourist squares makes it readily accessible to visitors exploring the Old Town.

• Location and use: Sits on Prague’s Old Town Square and is part of the National Gallery Prague, used for rotating exhibitions rather than a permanent single collection.

Kinský Palace (Palác Kinských) faces Old Town Square in central Prague. Take Prague Metro Line A to Staroměstská station (a short walk) or use trams and local buses that stop at/near the Old Town; from Staroměstská it’s only a couple of minutes on foot to the square and the palace. From Prague’s main railway station (Praha hlavní nádraží) it’s an easy 15-25 minute walk or a short metro/tram ride into the Old Town.

• Approach Kinský Palace from Old Town Square so you can appreciate the façade and use the palace's main entrance on the square-early morning visits offer photos with far fewer people in the square.
• Check the National Gallery/Kinský Palace opening hours before you go; exhibitions rotate and entry rules can differ from other National Gallery venues, so confirm whether a separate ticket is required for current shows.
• Avoid the busiest guided-tour windows around late morning if you prefer quieter galleries; lunchtime or late-afternoon visits usually have fewer large groups in the palace rooms.
