Khewra Salt Mine

The Khewra Salt Mine is a large underground salt mine in the Punjab region of Pakistan, renowned for producing Himalayan pink salt and for its extensive visitor-accessible caverns.

The mine combines active mining areas with dedicated tourist routes that include illuminated salt chambers, carved features and a small mosque constructed from salt blocks.
