Khadim Nagar National Park

Khadim Nagar National Park is a protected forest area in Sylhet Division in northeastern Bangladesh, designated to conserve local semi-evergreen forest. It is a small, locally important green space near Sylhet city.

Within the park visitors encounter short walking tracks, mixed native and planted tree stands, and pockets of understorey that attract birds and small mammals. Facilities are minimal compared with larger national parks, so visits are typically brief and informal.

The area was set aside for conservation of the local forest; management focuses on protecting remaining forest patches and providing limited recreational access. Over time the site has remained a small urban-proximate reserve rather than a large wilderness park.

The park sits on the northern edge of Sylhet city in Sylhet Division, in the wetter, hilly part of northeastern Bangladesh. It is immediately adjacent to suburban and peri-urban land uses rather than extensive, contiguous wilderness.

• When to visit: Best time for wildlife viewing is during the dry season when trails are more accessible and bird activity is higher.
