Kayar is a coastal fishing town north of Dakar and is reached by road from Blaise Diagne Airport (DSS) via Dakar. From Dakar use car rapides or shared taxis for the last leg to Kayar; the trip is usually 1-2 hours.

Blaise Diagne International Airport (DSS): The international airport serving Dakar and the Cap-Vert region is Blaise Diagne (DSS). From DSS you can take a shuttle or taxi to Dakar (around 45-90 minutes depending on traffic) and then onward by bus or shared taxi to Kayar on the Petite Cote; taxi/shuttle to central Dakar typically costs CFA XOF 6,000-12,000.

Dakar-Yoff (DSS) is the primary gateway: There are no larger international airports closer to Kayar than DSS.
