Karmravor Church is a small 7th-century Armenian church located in the town of Ashtarak, Aragatsotn Province. It is celebrated for its well-preserved red-tiled conical roof and compact cruciform plan.
The building retains original stone masonry, decorative blind arcading and a central dome set on a drum, making it one of the better-preserved early medieval churches in Armenia. Interior and exterior details reflect early Armenian ecclesiastical architecture.
The church has served the local Christian community continuously and is commonly visited by tourists travelling from nearby Yerevan and within Aragatsotn Province.
Karmravor stands in Ashtarak, about 15 km northwest of Yerevan, and is easily reached from the town centre.
