Kachanivka

Kachanivka is an historic country estate and cultural-reserve complex in Chernihiv Oblast, centred on a palace and an extensive landscaped park that dates largely to the late 18th and 19th centuries. It is protected as a museum-reserve for its architecture, parkland and cultural associations.

The estate developed from late 18th-century landholdings into a landscaped residence through the 19th century and was frequented by figures of Ukrainian and Russian cultural life; it later became state-managed as a historic reserve and museum.

Situated in Chernihiv Oblast in northern Ukraine, the estate lies near the village of Kachanivka and is accessible from regional towns in the Chernihiv area.
