Jenny Lake

Jenny Lake is a glacially formed lake in Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming, situated at the eastern base of the Teton Range near the small community of Moose. The lake occupies a basin carved by Pleistocene glaciers and serves as a major trailhead and recreation area within the park. Popular on-site features include a seasonal boat shuttle that crosses the lake, short hikes to Hidden Falls and Inspiration Point, and the longer Cascade Canyon route that begins at the lake. Trails around the lake provide close views of the Teton peaks and are used for hiking, wildlife viewing and photography.

• Jenny Lake Loop: The Jenny Lake Loop is a lakeside trail that circles the shoreline and provides close views of the Teton Range; the loop is a multi-mile hike used for day outings and wildlife viewing.
