Tips for Visiting Jebil National Park #
- Visit Jebil National Park outside the summer heat (autumn, winter and spring are far cooler) and plan travel from Kebili or Douz with a reputable desert operator - much of the park requires a 4x4 and local guidance.
- Coordinate a trip with local guides who can secure permits and know which tracks are passable; the park is remote and conditions (sand tracks, weather) can change quickly.
- Combine a crossing of the park with nearby oases and salt flats rather than treating it as a single stop - many visitors are surprised how much landscape variety exists but miss it when they only pass through on a single, hurried route.
