How to Get to Izeh
Izeh is a smaller city in Khuzestan province best reached by road from regional hubs such as Ahvaz or Dezful. There is no direct rail service into Izeh, so most visitors arrive by bus or taxi after flying into a larger nearby airport.
Ahvaz International Airport (AWZ): Ahvaz is the main airport serving Khuzestan province with domestic flights to Tehran and other cities. From Ahvaz to Izeh the road journey is roughly 2.5-4 hours by taxi or private car; expect taxis or shared transfers to cost approximately IRR 2,000,000-4,000,000 (prices vary) and travel time around 3-4 hours depending on route and traffic.
Dezful / Behbahan (regional airports): Smaller regional airports such as Dezful or Behbahan have limited services and seasonal connections; if you land at a smaller airport you will likely need a bus or taxi for a 2-4 hour road transfer to Izeh. Check flight availability before planning.
