How to Get to Inhassoro
Inhassoro is a coastal town in Inhambane Province best reached by domestic flight to Inhambane (INH) followed by a short road transfer, or by road from Inhambane town. Local minibuses and private transfers are the usual options for last-mile travel.
Inhambane Airport (INH): Inhambane (Jangamo / Inhambane area) is the main airport serving the province; domestic flights from Maputo and Vilankulo land here. From INH to Inhassoro the drive is typically 40-70 minutes depending on exact drop-off and road conditions, by taxi or arranged transfer.
Vilanculos Airport (VNX): Some travellers also arrive via Vilanculos and transfer overland (longer road journeys or domestic connections) to reach Inhassoro and the Inhambane area.
Train: Mozambique’s rail network does not serve Inhassoro directly; rail is not the typical way to reach the coast here.
