How to Get to Huizen
Huizen is best reached via Schiphol with a rail transfer to Hilversum and a short bus or taxi to Huizen. The town itself does not have a national rail station, so the Hilversum → Huizen bus/taxi leg is standard.
Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (AMS): The main airport serving Huizen; from Schiphol take a train to Hilversum (about 20-25 minutes, €5-€7) then a local bus or taxi to Huizen (15-25 minutes).
Schiphol / Lelystad and smaller airports: Lelystad Airport is closer geographically but has limited commercial service; most international travellers use Schiphol and continue by rail+bus or car to Huizen.
Train: The nearest main railhead is Hilversum station (Hilversum Centraal) with frequent trains from Amsterdam, Utrecht and Schiphol. From Hilversum take a local bus (Connexxion) to Huizen (about 15-25 minutes) or a short taxi ride.
Bus: Connexxion buses run between Hilversum, Naarden and Huizen; buses are frequent during the day but less so at night and on weekends - check the timetable for connections into Huizen.
