How to Get to Hugli-Chuchura
Hugli-Chuchura (Hooghly-Chinsurah) is easily reached from Kolkata by suburban train from Howrah or Sealdah, and from Kolkata's airport by taxi or road transfer. Local trains are frequent and inexpensive and are the usual choice for daily travel to and from Kolkata.
Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International (CCU): Kolkata’s airport is the major international gateway for Hugli-Chuchura (Hooghly-Chinsurah). From CCU a taxi to Hooghly/Chinsurah takes about 1-1.5 hours depending on traffic (roughly INR 900-1,600).
Kazi Nazrul Islam Airport (RDP) / other regional options: Kazi Nazrul Islam Airport (Durgapur/RDP) or other regional airports are farther and normally less convenient; most visitors use Kolkata for international and many domestic connections.
