About Hörnli#
Hörnli is a mountain in the Canton of Zurich, Switzerland, rising to about 1,133 metres above sea level and forming part of the Zürcher Oberland highlands. It is a popular local destination for hiking and nature walks.
The summit area provides panoramic views over surrounding valleys and, on clear days, distant views of the Swiss Alps and nearby lakes. Well-marked trails and paths link Hörnli with neighbouring villages and trailheads, accommodating both short walks and longer ridge routes.
Located in northeastern Switzerland, the mountain is roughly 25-35 kilometres southeast of central Zurich by road, within the forested and pastoral landscape typical of the region.
