Tips for Visiting Hornbjarg
- Dress for wind; the Westfjords are famously gusty and the cliffs are exposed.
- Bring binoculars for seabird colonies - cliffs often host guillemots, kittiwakes and sometimes puffins.
- Keep to marked paths - the turf can be fragile and the cliffs are steep and unforgiving.
