Hill Palace is the former royal residence of the Cochin (Kochi) royal family located in Tripunithura, a suburb of Kochi in Kerala. It now functions as a museum complex managed by the Kerala State Department of Archaeology.

The site contains a cluster of palace buildings that house archaeological and heritage displays, including royal regalia, sculptures, bronzes and everyday objects from the Cochin dynasty. Grounds include gardens and a deer park that visitors can walk through while touring the museums.

Constructed as the official residence and administrative center for the Cochin royal family in the 19th century, the complex ceased to be a royal seat in the 20th century and was converted into a public museum and archaeology department facility. Over time the site has been adapted to display collections and manage conservation of artifacts.

Hill Palace sits in Tripunithura within Ernakulam district, on the southeastern side of the urban Kochi area in Kerala.

  • Ownership and use: The complex is the former official residence of the Cochin royal family and is now managed as a museum and archaeology department site by the Government of Kerala.
