Guruvayur Temple is a major Hindu pilgrimage temple in the town of Guruvayur in Kerala, India, dedicated to Lord Krishna (often called Guruvayurappan). It is one of the most important and widely visited Krishna temples in South India with a continuous tradition of worship and public ritual.
