Hareidlandet Island

Hareidlandet is an island in Møre og Romsdal county on Norway’s west coast. The island supports coastal communities and local industry and is connected to neighbouring islands and the mainland by regional ferry and road links.

Settlement is concentrated in a few towns and harbours on the island, which form local service and transport hubs for the surrounding archipelago. The landscape is typical of western Norwegian islands with rocky shores and inland agricultural and forestry areas.

The island lies within the coastal cluster of islands northwest of the city of Ålesund and is part of the Møre og Romsdal island network.
