How to Get to Handlová#
Handlová is a smaller Slovak town reached by a combination of intercity rail to regional hubs (Prievidza) and short local buses or trains for the final leg. Overland travel from Bratislava is the normal approach.
Bratislava Airport (BTS): Bratislava is the nearest international airport with the most frequent connections for western Slovakia. From Bratislava you will generally continue by train or bus to regional hubs (Prievidza) and then by local bus or taxi to Handlová; allow several hours for the journey and expect combined fares of roughly €6-€15 depending on connections.
Košice / Kraków / Other airports: Košice and Poprad are far; most international visitors use Bratislava or Bratislava/Brno/Prague depending on routing, but these require long overland transfers to reach Handlová.
