Haliartus was an ancient city of Boeotia in central Greece and is today represented by an archaeological site near the modern town of Aliartos.
Archaeological remains include traces of settlement, defensive works and burial areas indicative of occupation in the Archaic and Classical periods. The city featured in regional power struggles in ancient Boeotia and formed part of the inland plain once occupied by Lake Copais.
