A lake and reservoir in Sindh province of Pakistan, situated on the coastal plain in the Thatta/Badin area. The waterbody functions as a local wetland that supports aquatic vegetation and attracts migratory and resident bird species.

The lake is used for local recreation and birdwatching and is one of several inland wetlands on the Sindh coastal plain that provide habitat for waterfowl during the winter migration season. Visitor facilities are limited and visits are generally informal.

The lake sits within Thatta district’s low-lying landscape, relatively close to the Indus Delta and within driving distance of larger urban centres in southern Sindh.

  • Birdlife: Important for wintering and migratory waterfowl and shorebirds, making the lake a destination for birdwatching in the cooler months.
  • Access and facilities: Located on the coastal plain of Sindh and reachable by road from nearby towns; facilities are basic and visits are typically day trips for birdwatching or local recreation.
