Rome-Fiumicino Airport (FCO): Fiumicino is Rome’s main international airport. From FCO you can reach Tivoli (the comune that contains Hadrian’s Villa) by train into Rome Termini or Tiburtina and then a regional bus; total travel time is usually around 1-1.5 hours plus the local transfer, and costs vary by segment (Leonardo Express €14 to Termini then regional tickets are low-cost).

Rome-Ciampino Airport (CIA): Ciampino is closer to Rome’s eastern suburbs; from CIA use the metro/bus to Rome’s transit hubs and then regional bus to Tivoli. Direct flights to the Tivoli area are not available from these airports-overland transfer is required.

By Train & Bus

Bus: Cotral regional buses and Roma-supplied buses run from Rome (Ponte Mammolo, Tiburtina and other hubs) to Tivoli and Villa Adriana; buses are frequent and cheap (single fares around €1.50-€2) and often drop visitors closer to the archaeological site than the train station does.
