Rocca di Papa is a hill town in the Castelli Romani reachable from Rome by a short regional train to Frascati plus a local Cotral bus or taxi uphill. Most visitors arrive via Rome’s airports and continue by rail/bus from Termini or Ciampino.
Rome Ciampino (CIA) & Fiumicino (FCO): Rocca di Papa is accessed via Rome’s airports-Ciampino and Fiumicino. From Rome you travel by train or bus to the outskirts (e.g., Rome Termini) and then use regional trains/buses toward Frascati and surrounding Castelli Romani (total travel ~45-90 minutes depending on connections).
