How to Get to Gunung Padang #
The site is near the village of Karyamukti in Cianjur Regency. From Bandung, take the bus to Cianjur (approx. 2-3 hours) then local transport toward Karyamukti; from Jakarta, private cars or tour operators make the 3-4 hour trip. The last stretch to the park entrance is via local roads; allow time for unfamiliar signage.

- Visit early morning to avoid the mid-day heat that obscures views and to see the site with fewer people.
- Respect ongoing archaeological work - some areas are cordoned off and local archaeologists value calm observation over selfies.
