Travel by car or bus from Manado into Minahasa/Minahasa Utara regency to reach the mountain’s access roads and base villages; journey times from Manado to the mountain area are typically a road trip of a few dozen kilometres and take under a couple of hours by car depending on your exact start point.
From the local base villages you proceed on foot along established trails to the summit-arrange local transport and a guide in Manado or the nearby regency towns.
