Grandview Point is a roadside viewpoint on the South Rim of Grand Canyon National Park in Arizona, known for broad panoramic views across the canyon and the Colorado River. It is one of the developed overlooks along the park’s South Rim drive.
The viewpoint developed as part of South Rim visitor infrastructure to give motorists and day visitors formal access to panoramic canyon views and to mark the start of an established trail into the canyon.
Located on the South Rim road within Grand Canyon National Park, the point sits along the eastward stretch of the South Rim scenic drive and is accessed by vehicle from the park’s main rim road.
- Trailhead: Serves as the trailhead for the historic Grandview Trail, a steep and challenging route into the canyon used by experienced hikers and backpackers.
